I have just returned home from Salisbury City Hall. Morrissey live - at last.
The show is every bit as good as they say it is - one of the best gigs I have ever seen. Probably to do with moood as much as anything.
There was passion, aggression, pride, poignancy, arrogance, tenderness, bitterness, cynicism, volume, stagecraft - a whole dynmaic package that really delivere don every level.
Ok, so Cemetery Gates was comparatively weak and seemed an odd choice for inclusion...
He sings a lot of prayer and faith, of God and priests and church.
And how I need that now...

I love Morrissey and I also love Cemetery Gates.
Know exactly what you mean about church thing-am enbroiled myself in pettifogging maelstrom that passes for spiritual life.
