…unfamiliar surroundings.
Wifey's world during the week.
It's a great place to be.
While yesterday was a write-off, today has been much more R and R. I stopped taking the painkillers at lunchtime, just to get a bearing on how my neck really feels.
The twinges have all but gone, and though I can't cope with sudden movements (like as happen when you hold a 9mth old baby!) I have nothing but a dull ache now and most movement has returned to my neck and head.
Walked witht he family up to playgroup this orning in glorious sunshine, left them ther and then came home to a cup of tea in the garden and an uninterrupted hour of music while the bread machine did its thing
Bits and bobs of housework (dusting and the like) then time up here doing some invoicing, tidying up my Foxx database and catching up with church emails and tightening up the website map.
All essential stuff and very rewarding.
All inthe garden this afternoon, though I was not allowed to help palnting out the sweet peas or the new lavender bushes.
Oh dear what a shame, i just had to play with baby.
She's so much fun right now - won't be long at all before she's walking.
School run at 3.30 and then I been playing football in the garden with Stan. That's too much, and everything aches now so I've had to duck out of the swingball.
Such a laugh trying to play that with four players.
You have to be SOOOO quick!!
Baggins is trashing the studio again now - books, papers and her favourite - CDs - all over the floor ina scene of total carnage!
Over the past two days, I have had the pleasure of listening to:
Buzzcocks - Best Of
John Foxx - The Pleasures of Electricity
Ichabod Crane
Grinderman
Bob Dylan - Highway 61 revisited
Kraftwerk - Radio Activity and Trans Europe Express
Brian Eno - Another Green World
Bjork - medulla and Gling Glo
