In the light of last year's outbreak of Bird Flu in Europe, the British government has decided to ban the factory farming of poultry and game across the country. The price of chicken and other meats will be significantly raised to reflect to the subsidies now on offer to farmers who keep, raise and prepare the birds properly in an environment that is less likely to be vulnerable to such outbreaks in the future.

An nationwide education programme is being introduced which it is hoped will enlighten people to the real cost of wanting everything cheaper than it was last week.
